Happy girl

Zoe is becoming very aware of her surroundings and is quick to reward her parents with a smile (and even the occasional laugh). We love you, too, Zoe!

 

 

Zoe weighs in

Zoe had her four-month checkup last week.  It's hard to believe that it's been four months already!  Zoe now weighs 13.5 lbs, which is 50th percentile for baby girls.  She's in the 75th percentile for height and, following in the footsteps of her big sister, her head circumference is 80th percentile!  Way to go, Zoe!

So happy to be home

After a 2.5 drive to San Juan, a 2.5 hour wait in the airport, and a 3.5 hour flight to Boston, we made it home around midnight last night.

We're all happy to be home (Tessa actually stood at the front door and said "Happy" last night), but Zoe's face says it all.

Zoe does Puerto Rico!

We haven't been posting very often, but it's not because we don't have lots to say about Zoe.  She has grown so much in the last month, since we've been traveling.  We visited her grandparents in Florida for a couple of weeks and we've been staying at Shack's Beach in Puerto Rico for the last week and a half.  Zoe is thriving despite (or, perhaps, because of) all of the travel and excitement.  We are staying right on the beach, so she's been able to fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves!

Zoe has gotten very comfortable in a lounge chair!  She's also become quite skilled at lifting her head to look around.  She had been rolling over from her front to back early on, when her head to body ratio allowed her to use her head to create enough momentum to roll her over.  Just in the last two days, she's started rolling over again.  This time, she's actually figured out how to position her arms and legs to roll and she now has the muscle strength to make it happen.  She's also started reaching out to grab rattles and her black-and-white art cards (which she loves!).
